Bangalore Is Witnessing a Tremendous Growth in the Real Estate Market for Villas

Bangalore, the silicon city of India, has witnessed much growth in its living standards and preferences when it comes to real estate. The advancement is a result of high expectations for everyday comforts by individuals. This has led to the high demand of extravagant living. Of recent the Bangalore property market has witnessed a strong appreciation for luxury housing accommodations.

South Bangalore is slowly emerging as a hotspot for premium real estate projects. With already well established developers like Concorde, Mantri, Hebron and its likes, villas in south Bangalore have received much appreciation from the public. All of these housing projects have showcased excellence in design, planning and amenities; the reason why they’ve grown to be standard setting developers. A resident of a luxury villa project in south Bangalore mentioned and appreciated the well planned residential projects that the city has to offer its prospective individuals.

The vast majority of the population considers the villas in Bangalore a far better place for peaceful and comfortable living than any other city in the country. With more privacy and space that a villa offers than that from an apartment or flat, the demand for villas is on the rise. This trend has been accentuated by the availability of other infrastructural benefits and conveniences that most of the recent projects are built around. 
Despite the fact that there has been a drop in the real estate market, there is still a colossal interest for both affordable housing and premium housing in Bangalore. On the surprise note, the demand of the luxury villas have considerably gone up. Even though theses luxury properties cost a bomb, the developers have received positive responses. This is the reason why new developers are pricing their projects towards the higher end along with the already established players.

Bangalore has witnessed the launch of 13 luxury villas last year; another 6 in the second half of the year. The villas are more of a lifestyle statement in the city, and with individuals becoming more conscious of their lifestyle, the trend is on the high rise.
The main factors for the growing preference for villas over apartments include the top class amenities, facilities, the location and the space that it offers. Villas also offer much privacy as compared to apartments and flats even though some of them may offer better and wider range of amenities.

Some of the hotspots for such projects are prevalent in places like Sarjapur, Whitefield, Kanakapura and parts of North Bangalore, to mention a few.

The number of developers and builders who undertake such luxury projects are few. Although there exists a monopoly in this segment of the real estate market, the scope for new players is high as the demand is growing at a much faster pace than ever before.
